FROM PREGNANCY
TO POSTPARTUM:
How My Body Transformed through Breastfeeding, Motherhood, and Strength Training
During pregnancy the body changes in order to create the best possible environment to create a human.
Postpartum the body changes again to now nourish the human all while performing day to day duties.
I exclusively breastfed my last two babies therefore for the past 4 years my body fat composition was high because it needed to be based on the its functional demands!
Since having our last baby the body recognized that I no longer needed the extra fat. That paired with lifting heavy weights 4-5 days a week and keeping up with my kids this is where we are today.
Factors such as:
- Stress
- Breastfeeding
- Hormones
- Nutrition
- Exercise Stimulus
- And many others…
