The Importance of Functional Strength After a C-Section
Sitting up Is a functionally important during postpartum regardless of the birth avenue cuz quite frankly we have to sit up and out of bed every day so we do need this functional strength.
Post c section this movement is extremely challenging. What isn’t showed here is all of the accessory work don’t to get to the point where my incision feels SUPPORTED -NOT 100 PERCENT HEALED AND IM FAR FROM 100 PERCENT – BUT SAFE AND SUPPORTED.
3 Months if:
- Breastfeeding
- Walking up the stairs daily in my house
- Caring for 3 humans
- Night feeds followed by 4am work-outs
- Training 3-5 days a week (MAINLY FOR MENTAL HEALTH AND CHABGE OF SCENERY)
